Both Microsoft and Google’s mobile operating systems have now passed the symbolic boundaries in the number of apps downloaded the stores.

When Microsoft decided that Windows Phone should be rebuilt from scratch. The total number of apps in Windows Phone Marketplace now has passed 1,000, according to the website WMPoweruser.com. As BMR can say that’s not so big, but still a certain step.

The recent days have also the number of apps in the Google Android Market crossed the number of 100 000, which Google announced in their Twitter feed for developers. It remains, however a lot less behind 300 000 apps in Apple’s Appstore.
